Located on a farm only 2.5 miles from Banagher town in Co. Offaly, Ireland. The Ashtree Cottage has the feeling of seclusion while it is actually well placed to tour Ireland and is within easy walking distance of the River Shannon!

The Ashtree Cottage is brand new but we have incorporated lots of old features into it. There is a big open fire in the living room and the kitchen is pine wood. The heating and hot water is by the geothermal system.
There are beams in the raised ceiling. This cottage has 3 bedrooms (2 double
and a twin room) two rooms are ensuite shower and w.c. The master bedroom
opens into the main bathroom. The main bathroom has a slipper bath and has
pine wood panelling and celtic ironwork mirrors. We have planted and laid out the garden and it is looking good. It is a lovely cottage, we have put a huge amount of work and planning into it. The cottage will accommodate 6 people but it would be not be too big for less people.
