And when it's time to call it a night, this home offers 7 lovely bedrooms with four queen beds, a king bed, and nine twin beds. Travel down the stairs near the first level entry door to the lower-level apartment, perfect for guests needing privacy or just more room to spread out. A few more minutes down Rt 28 is Saquatucket Harbor and Marina, a great attraction for shopping, eating and boating. We, the bridal party, stayed at this beautiful home for our best friend's wedding weekend at Wychmere, and I truly can't say enough good things. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect — the house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. It had everything we possibly needed and more.
The location could not have been better. We were just minutes from Wychmere, which made getting to all the wedding events effortless. We loved being able to walk to the beach, grab coffee nearby, and enjoy the charm of Harwich Port all weekend long.
The host was incredibly responsive and kind, and everything was exactly as described (if not better!). And so flexible with us and our large party.

We rented Betsy's place for wedding party gathering so everyone could get to know each other. The home is such an amazing place to stay and the location couldn't be any better. Restaurants, bars and beaches are right there or a very short walk. The communication with Betsy was awesome from the beginning until the end. Anything I needed, she was there to help! The house was stocked with everything you would need. The sheets were even wrapped in a nice ribbon. The bridesmaids and maid of honor stayed on the second floor. The soon-to-be bride and groom stayed on the first floor. And the groomsmen stayed on the lower level. Everyone can't stop talking about how great Betsy's home is. The wedding is in August and now everyone knows each other. Betsy, thank you so much for making my daughter's wedding party weekend so special.

This house was absolutely perfect for our family to stay in Harwich Port as our son was getting married at Wychmere Beach Club. First, the location is on the corner of Bank St and Main St. It is directly across the street from Ember Pizza (which was a wonderful after party to the wedding on their patio). It is also down the street from many restaurants and shops. It is located only a few blocks away from the beach and Wychmere Beach Club. The house is spacious to accommodate extended family, warm, welcoming and spotless. The main level has a large kitchen and dining , living room and Master Bedroom with bath. There are 2 patio areas with one having a fire pit. The upstairs has another Master Suite with 3 additional bedrooms, laundry room and 2 bathrooms. The lower level was a complete bonus with an entire 2 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and living room. Betsey was easy to communicate with and answer any questions that we had. She even left us a bottle of wine to help us celebrate! If you have a child getting married at Wychmere then this is the house for you!

We had such an amazing time at this house! We were in town for a wedding and we needed a house that was big enough for our group; 9 adults and 7 children. Once we arrived, we quickly realized that space was NOT an issue. The pictures don't do this house justice with how beautiful it is and how much space there is, both inside and outside. Getting settled was easy, Betsey was more than accommodating, there was enough space for the children to be in one area and the adults in the other, the yard was perfect for late night drinks by the fire pit, and being in close proximity to the wedding was a bonus. We had such an amazing time and there was not one complaint by anyone all weekend. We would for sure come back! :)

If you're having a wedding at Wychmere - this is your rental! Betsey was above and beyond! Helpful, accommodating a last minute emergency, and just genuinely happy for us celebrating our son & now daughter's wedding! 4 families under one roof for 10 days and you would have never known it … until it was fire pit time. What an amazing property and LOCATION!!
