If you are looking for an elevated & relaxing stay in a nice neighborhood just minutes from UO, this is the house for you.
The “McKenzie River” house is named after the many design features locally sourced including salvaged wood for the dining table, hearth and floating shelves from the Holiday farm fire of 2020 on the McKenzie. The beautiful McKenzie River not only runs thru Eugene from the Cascade Range but also supplies our superior drinking water. It is also home to world class fly fishing along with some of the most amazing hiking trails in our area. Interior design was inspired by the McKenzie along with nature’s elements.
Large slider doors to the back covered patio where outdoor dining, BBQ and casual seating await with a background of manicured landscape of mid century roses, perennials and lawn expand.
This mostly single level home offers three bedrooms on the main floor with an updated hall bath and en suite bath in the owner's suite. The 4th bedroom is called the “Cabin Suite." Situated above the garage it offers a queen bed with luxury linens along with an area for yoga, meditation and office space. The "4th bedroom" includes a newly renovated bathroom. This cabin suite is private from the rest of the house with access thru the laundry room, into the garage and has its own bathroom and kitchenette.
