We are a new developing low budget destination stay and starting point for runners, hikers, swimmers, cyclists, cave explorers and climbers. We are located 30 kilometers (18 Miles) outside Chiang Mai city, on the outskirts of Ob Khan National Park. Our huts can accommodate 2 people on a twin size bed and comes with a mosquito net, lamp, fan, electrical outlet, outside sitting area and a dresser/safety box.
Guests will have access to a new shared shower and toilet facility on the property . Guest also have access to laundry facilities for 50 Baht a load, otherwise I can do the laundry for you for 5 Baht per piece. Wifi is available on the entire property. We also have a new clubhouse where guests can relax, read, eat, work on their laptops and play table football (Fooseball).
We offer a continental breakfast here for 60 Baht a person. Breakfast items include toast, cereal, muesli, waffles, protein bars, fruit, milk, coffee, tea and fruit juice. Since most guests are off exploring and touring during the day, we do not serve lunch, but there is a beautiful garden restaurant open for lunch in our village, that serves great food for a low price. Most dishes are from 45 to 89 Baht. There is also a 7/11, pharmacy, restaurant, coffee shop and petrol station 3k down the road and a German bakery/restaurant 6 kilometers down the road. I prepare dinner for vegetarians, and meat lovers ( I myself am a vegetarian and my husband a meat eater) Dinner is 100B, with plenty to eat. Guests can eat with us and other guests in a family style gathering. Please let me know if you have a special diet before you arrive. And as always, drinking water is always free as I have a water purification system. We also offer tours to the National Parks, Caves, Waterfalls and other nearby attractions. When you enter the National Park from my location, which is free, there are hundreds of trails to hike, bike or run on. There is also a dog adoption center where you can volunteer to take dogs for a walk and help take care and play with them. I also teach a basic 1 hour Thai language class for 200 baht to help you get around Thailand easier and feel more comfortable when ordering food or asking directions. Thai cooking classes are offered as well.
I am located in a small village with all the sites, smells and sounds you would expect from a small Thai village. It takes about 30 minutes to drive from the city of Chiang Mai to my place (Excluding rush hour). Just off a main cycling route to the city. You will see many cyclists coming and going to the city day and night for training exercises and fun. I am close to many attractions and the famous Baan Tawai Handicraft Village.
Pick up and drop off from Chiang Mai International Airport, the bus and train stations or any other place around town is 500 Baht roundtrip. So there is no need to worry about how to find or get to my place or renting a taxi. There is no bus service. I will find you. Renting a motorbike (Which we do at 200 Baht a day) or bicycle (Free to use) is the easiest way to get around on your own and explore the area and sights, as there is no bus or taxi service out here. If you decide you want to go to back into the city to explore and don't want to go by motorbike and want to go by car, I charge 250 Baht each way for gas for drop off and pick up. I can also drop you off and pick you up at sights around the area for 200 Baht round trip.
